Tuy Gentry Buckner
Tuy (2E) Gentry Buckner was born in Vietnam, adopted by an American family in 1974. Spent most of his childhood growing up on the West Coast, in Berkeley, California.
After attending UCLA and the California College of the Arts for Graphic Design, 2E found his true calling in 1999 in the field of professional jewelry design. Shortly after he opened up a full service, precious metal casting design house.
Along his journey 2E was fortunate enough to find his birth parents in Vietnam and the Philippines. Opening new doors and avenues of inspiration which have allowed him to build an international clientele.
2E’s connection to CODE Purple is personal, because he has experienced and suffered from malaria himself.
