HANDS FROM HARLEM TO THE WORLD

Site:

Area inside the concrete pylons in plaza outside of the Adam Clayton Powell Jr. State Office Building to be clear for filming of a choreographed performance to include dancers and people wearing purple in support.

What final product will look like:

"Hands From Harlem to The World" video surrounding a crew of professional dancers around the instrumentals of the song, Pressure. We will have music playing during the official recording, capturing shots of dancers on the streets, dressed in purple, moving towards the section of 125th street around the Adam Clayton Powell Jr. State Office Building. Scenes of people pointing, shop owners observing what is going on. At this point, all the dancers start to line up on either side of the plaza. Capture close-ups of dancers smiling, laughing getting excited. Performance includes freeing Dancers that represent bondage Hal Jackson will hand Moskeeto Armor to free the dancers. Capture more B footage of people observing from side streets. Four cameramen will be on location using both tripods and steadicams.

Shooting schedule:

Approximately 150 minutes of diverted pedestrian traffic time, 60 minutes of official, closed filming.

Prep shooting schedule:

8am-9am:
Film crew and talent arrive into the city and begin moving towards 125th street. Set up central staging area to coordinate movements of everyone outside of the Adam Clayton Powell Jr. State Office Building. 9am-10am: B footage of the street setup. People arriving on scene, store owners beginning to open stores. Plaza on the south entrance of the Adam Clayton Powell Jr. State Office Building begins to become filled, pedestrian traffic south entrance. B footage with steady-cams capturing peoples responses, curiosity of what's going on.

1:00pm-3:30pm:
Official shooting begins. Crew of dancers will be performing INSIDE the section of concrete pylon barriers. Four (4) cameramen will be using steadicams, following the talent on either side of the plaza in order to capture close-up shots of dancers. Tripods will be set up on NW and SW corner of the plaza outside the south entrance of the Adam Clayton Powell Jr. State Office Building. 4:00pm~: Breakdown begins. Pedestrian/Office worker walkways are returned back to original traffic patterns. Crew and talent are moved off the premises as quickly as possible to allow for no further delay or disruption in the pedestrian/office worker traffic.
